In this role as a Utilization Review Supervisor within our utilization department you would be responsible for the process of evaluating the necessity, appropriateness, and efficiency of healthcare services within NPH. This role entails overseeing a team of utilization review nurses, ensuring compliance with clinical regulatory standards, and enhancing the overall utilization review process to optimize patient care and manage resources effectively.
Salary Range: $59.67- $138.60/hourly
We’re seeking a self-motivated individual with:
- BSN or MSN, Required
- Current valid CA RN License, required
- BLS from the ARC or AHA, required
- 5 years of acute care nursing experience, required
- Minimum of 5 years of psychiatric experience, required
- Previous Utilization Review experience, required
- Previous background in admissions/bed management or administrative nursing, highly desired
- Previous management or leadership experience, highly desired
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders across several disciplines
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, patient care protocols and healthcare regulations within a psychiatric setting, highly desired
- Ability to lead, inspire, motivate and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
