The Suicide Prevention Coordinator (SPC) is located in the Mental Health Care Line and serves to facilitate implementation of suicide prevention strategies at the local level through education, monitoring, and coordination activities. The SPC provides advanced evaluation and treatment strategies to the full range of patient problems in the work setting, including providing evidenced based interventions. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
