The San Francisco VA is seeking to hire a Clinical Geneticist (internal medicine or family practice background preferred) to join our dynamic team.
THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION
The Clinical Geneticist has the responsibility for delivery of comprehensive genetic care. The position includes responsibility for completing a broad range of genetic care needs for adult patients; providing genetic services via virtual modalities (may occasionally require travel to San Francisco hub for face-to-face encounters); coordinating care with other VA clinical services; staffing of a nurse or genetic counselor clinic; serving on quality improvement initiatives; and actively participating as a member of a multi-disciplinary team of genetics providers (currently five clinical geneticists, one genetic counselor, and one nurse/case manager) supported by administrative and business teams.

Annual performance bonus up to an additional $15K per year (prorated for part-time)
Up to $1,000/year and 5 days of paid absences for CME (prorated for part-time)
