UHC Solutions is conducting a CEO search on behalf of Mission Neighborhood Health Center. MNHC is a non-profit, multi-site community health organization offering comprehensive health services in the Mission and Excelsior Districts of San Francisco. The center offers primary health care services, adult medicine, pediatrics, family planning, OB/GYN, HIV, and homeless services. They are dedicated to building health equity through the provision of culturally- and linguistically competent services with a focus on the Latinx Spanish-speaking communities. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) provides strategic leadership for the organization by working with the Board of Directors and the Executive Leadership Team to establish long range goals, strategies, plans, and policies.
The CEO is responsible for leading all aspects of organization-wide strategic endeavors, including organizational culture and people management, financial management, operations management, clinical services, external partnerships, community relations, and fundraising. The CEO leads in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, the organization’s by-laws, Board policies, and contractual obligations. Driven by the Mission and core values of the organization, the CEO is the primary face and voice of the organization to a wide variety of stakeholders.
TARGET QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Bachelor’s degree required. It is preferred that the successful candidate has amaster’s degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Health, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in progressively responsible managerial positions of which, it is preferred that five years or more were spent at the level of Chief Executive Officer or Executive Director in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) organization reporting to a board of directors. Sophisticated knowledge and understanding of the Federal health care environment with a large plus for the same understanding in the State of California. It is preferred that the successful candidate has direct experience collaborating with or operating under Alternative Payment Methods (APM).
