RFHC is a 18 year old, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), located in East Palo Alto, in the county of San Mateo, California. Our mission is “To improve the health of the community by providing culturally sensitive, integrated primary and preventative health care to all, regardless of ability to pay or immigration status, and collaborating with community partners to address the social determinants of health”.
The Director of Clinical Operations of Ravenswood Family Health Center is responsible for day-to-day clinical operations, oversees clinical departments and clinical sites to ensure that service delivery operates efficiently, effectively, and delivers high quality health care. Responsible for directing clinical operations department managers and line supervisors who in turn oversee nursing staff, medical assistants, and other allied health staff, ensuring adequate provider and support staff coverage. Participates in recruitment, orientation, training, performance evaluation of staff under his/her direction and ensuring their adherence to all RFHC policies and standards as well as meeting RFHC health care objectives for grants and contracts, local, state and federal laws and regulations related to operating a community health center.

Teamwork: RFHC is committed to promoting natural leaders from the community and from within RFHC employees. Executive Team Members are charged with supporting new young managers to be successful as well as working in cross departmental teams with other managers
Quality: Actively participates in identifying areas for improvement and establish methods for quality improvement and smooth integration of all of RFHC services.
Minimum of three (3) years of prior clinical experience: clinical/direct ambulatory patient care experience required
Five (5) years minimum previous supervisory and management experience in outpatient clinics, community health centers, urgent care or physician office
Master of Health Administration (MHA), MBA in Healthcare, Master of Public Health (MPH), or a similar degree preferred.
Three (3) years of prior managed care experience highly desirable
